Well i was looking on my Facebook and you know how they have things you can like, well one of my friends liked something that posted a Soviet Union flag beside it. The like had nothing to do with the Soviet Union, and even made the mistake of associating it with Hitler. This generation just does not understand what communism is. They do not understand the fact that during the cold war we got darn close to having that in America. If the Russians had gotten the upper hand who know where we would be. i know that i have used this before but President Reagan made a statement in his “Evil Empire Speech”. Which yesterday happened to be the anniversary of that speech. The president stated the following.
“A number of years ago, I heard a young father, a very prominent young man in the
entertainment world, addressing a tremendous gathering in California. It was during the time
of the cold war, and communism and our own way of life were very much on people's minds.
And he was speaking to that subject. And suddenly, though, I heard him saying, "I love my little girls more than anything." And I
said to myself, "Oh, no, don't. You can't…Don't say that." But I had underestimated him. He
went on: "I would rather see my little girls die now; still believing in God, than have them
grow up under communism and one day die no longer believing in God."

of joy. They had instantly recognized the profound truth in what he had said, with regard to
the physical and the soul and what was truly important.”![]()
Children today do not know the risk of communism, their parents don't teach them and the government removes it from the history books just like the holocaust. Now we teach children that every way of life is to be accepted. The President of the United States has even made the statement, that international law is to be accepted as more powerful than the constitution of this United States. Wow, if that had been said even 20 years ago do you know what would happen? The public would have had a fit, they would not have accepted it. Some would call that “times changing for the better”. Well i think Benjamin Franklin said it best, "Any society that would give up a little liberty to gain a little security will deserve neither and lose both.". The fact that children of today are taught that liberty is not the most important thing is, in my mind, the worst thing that has ever happened to America.

Where has America the great gone?
America differs from a lot of countries today in that we still afford people the opportunity to better themselves. Where has the America that George Washington and James Madison, dreamed of. A land where people would be free to express their beliefs and where people could worship an almighty God and not fear ridicule and persecution. Have we gone that far away.

From that beginning that we live in a country that does not believe in God any more. Why has America become the world police force? Why can we as a collective people not mind our own business? In the past few weeks the president has gotten involved with the situation in Israel. I ask why. it is none of our business You know the Monroe doctrine was originally meant to tell the European countries that they can no longer colonize the Latin America because the United States would view that as interfering with the U.S. and we would stop it.I think that the doctrine meant much more. to me it meant that the united States was not a world police force and we don't get involved with others unless it affects us. And i have one more thing to say. Does the people that run our country think that if they deny God that he will go away. I was listening to a television show and one of the hosts said that it does not matter if President Obama is Muslim. Well i beg to differ it makes all the difference. You see when we start letting people that don’t believe in God run our country then we have lost the dream that Washington and Madison and Monroe had for us. I personaly think that if they were to come back today then they would be ashamed to find how we have turned out. you know one of the people that i love to read, actually one of my favorite authors is C.S. Lewis, and i find that most of the time what he says could not be more right.

When will America realize that. I don't know but i will pray for the day when they do.

Sweep your own back step first.
You know with all the things that have happened in the middle east over the past week, i think that the United States needs to reaffairm the Monroe Doctrine. For those of you who don’t know what that is here it is:
The Monroe Doctrine is a policy of the United States introduced on December 2, 1823. It stated that further efforts by European countries to colonize land or interfere with states in the Americas would be viewed as acts of aggression requiring U.S. intervention.[1] The Monroe Doctrine asserted that the Western Hemisphere was not to be further colonized by European countries but that the United States would neither interfere with existing European colonies nor meddle in the internal concerns of European countries. The Doctrine was issued at a time when many Latin American countries were on the verge of becoming independent from the Spanish Empire and the United States, reflecting concerns raised by Great Britain, hoping to avoid having any European power take over Spain's colonies.[2]
The US President, James Monroe, first stated the doctrine during his seventh annual State of the Union Address to Congress. It became a defining moment in the foreign policy of the United States and one of its longest-standing tenets, and would be invoked by many U.S. statesmen and several U.S. presidents, including Theodore Roosevelt, Calvin Coolidge, Herbert Hoover, John F. Kennedy, Ronald Reagan and others.
America is not in the business of being the world police force, especially with our current president. President Obama has no standing with the Middle East. After he became President the first thing he did was take a trip to the middle east and kissed their tails and said that they were the best thing since a pocket on a shirt. Now i don't agree with nor condone the world viewing us a police force, but they do. AS such they look to our leader for advice and guidance. Obama has non for them, they don't like him because he does not give any of that non at all. Until we can get a president that will be respected that is just so much more reason to stay out of the worlds affairs.
My dad always told me to Sweep my own back step before i go try to sweep and getting on to others for not sweeping there back step. I in all honesty think that our president is a person who does not care he is getting what he wants. So i beg of you Nov. 4th 2012make your decision know and let the right one be made.

The public accepts more every day.
You know when folks like John Kennedy ran for president they made it still an honorable occasion. Then when people like Reagan and Bush Senior ran for the office of the president they would ask them did you ever smoke marijuana? The answer was no, no i did not. See the progression so far? Then when Bill Clinton ran for president they asked did you smoke it and it was yes but i did not inhale. Then Bush Jr. did you smoke it, the answer was yes, i did drugs and alcohol. Now our current president was asked and his answer was Yes i did smoke, yes i did inhale but that's not the point. Have the American people become so numb to the fact that we travel a little further away from the straight and narrow every day. What happened to becoming a president was an honorable occasion? Do you, the readers yes you, see the progression from John Kennedys dad selling alcohol during prohibition, and going all the way to the current president saying yea i did drug so what that's not the point. Let me tell you Mr. President that is the point the exact point.
If you, president of the United States shrug that off what else what else will you let go. Have the American people let them selves say well that’s not that bad after all. Hey the president of the United States is to be held to a much higher standard the the average American. I am not talking about morally i am talking about socially and common sense wise. We elect the President every four years with the expectation that he will do what he says but 99% of the time all of it was lies. I have but one question left. When will the American people learn from history, after all that is why it is there to learn from, and change the way they elect officials? When?Friday, January 28, 2011
American Censorship.
You know recently i heard that they, the people that like to remove all semblance of history from this generation, would like to remove the “N” word as some would call it from Mark Twains writings. Now don’t get me wrong i know that society says that it is wrong but the fact still remains history is history and always will be. Nothing you or I can do will change it we can only change the future. Now i also have issue with the word itself. How is it that one type of person can say a certain word and it is verbal abuse and derogatory then another, both delineated by skin color, say that word and it be alright? I am all for equal rights “We hold these truths to be self evident that all men were created equal, and endowed by
their creator with certain inalienable rights.” but there comes a point when i say why should i vow for equality for you when you practice inequality based on skin color. What am i talking about? I am talking about Blacks and whites and the “N” word. A white man or woman may call a person of black color a Ni**** and it is the worst thing that he could do, but the first thing you hear com out of a black mans mouth when two of them get in a fight is Ni****. How is it that society accepts this. A society that prides itself in Equal rights for all. Now i am not saying that all and maybe not even the majority of black people do this i have some very great black people for friends, and they are great but it stands to reason that if i have a basket with 8 apples in it. Six of them are sweet tasting, the majority of people in this world you just group the rest in with them and say well they are sweet too. You know nobody ever tells that the word was originally meant for a white man, and also the countless number of white slaves. I do know that there were a great majority of black slaves but does that mean that what happened to the white slaves is any less important. NO. Removing the word from Mark Twains writings would be a great a shame. Especially because of the symbolism of his books. The vast majority of American knows who he is and what he wrote. Removing that word would be like the Dutch removing the holocaust from history books. Which they did. Just because you cover it up does not mean that it did not happen, we should teach the subsequent generations to learn from the mistakes of others. Especially something as big as slavery one of the greatest issues of this country. Just like the holocaust was that of the Germans and Jews. SO i think that it would be a great shame to do so and i hope that they don’t.
